●
MLM is one
of three
methods of
moving
products
from
manufacturer
to consumer
along with
retail sales
(grocery
& department
stores,
etc.), and
direct sales
(mail order,
encyclopedia
sales,
etc.).
●
MLM is not
an “alien
cult.” It
is
a
lawful,
legitimate
business
model
recognized
by the U.S.
Federal
Trade
Commission
that
offers
tremendous
growth
potential.
●
MLM utilizes
a network of
independent
business
owners
to sell
consumer
products
supplied by
an
established
company.
These
business
owners
merchandise
products via
in-person
relationships
and/or
online
websites;
they can
also build
their own
sales force
and train
other
motivated
individuals
to sell.
●
Compensation
is based on
a percentage
of the sales
of the
business
owner's
entire sales
group, as
well as
earnings
from their
own sales to
retail
customers.
●
MLMs
offer
better
products;
that equals
greater
opportunity.
Millions have been attracted to MLMs for several reasons. In
many cases, the products offered are better than in stores because
more money goes into product development than advertising. Some
want to buy products they already use at wholesale; some want extra
cash; others have built a large business & substantial income selling
retail and sponsoring/training others to do the same.
